How to Create a “Memory Jar” Using Scrapbooking Scraps and Washi Tape
Share
In the rush of our digital lives, we often lose track of the small, beautiful moments that make life meaningful. A "Memory Jar" is a beautiful, analog way to capture these fragments of joy throughout the year. At Craft Bloom, we believe in using every scrap of inspiration—literally. This project is a perfect way to upcycle your leftover Scrapbooking & Stamping supplies into something functional and sentimental.
Start with a clean glass jar. Use your extra strips of patterned Paper and colorful Washi Tape to decorate the exterior. You can create a "layered" look by wrapping tape around the rim or using stamps to label the jar with the current year. The goal is to make the jar itself a piece of Home Décor that looks beautiful on your shelf.
Inside the jar, keep a stack of small paper slips and a pen from your Writing & Correction Supplies kit. Whenever something good happens—a funny quote from a friend, a great meal, or a personal win—write it down and drop it in. By the end of the year, you will have a jar filled with "blooms" of happiness to look back on. It’s a simple, low-pressure way to practice gratitude and utilize your craft stash.
